A Stitch in Time
We are extremely pleased to announce that knitonthenet will be re-publishing "A Stitch In Time" by Jane Waller.
"A Stitch In Time" was originally published in the 1970s, featuring over 100 original knitting & crochet patterns from the 1920s through to the beginning of the 1950s. The garments featured in the book are used by stage, screen and TV for historical accuracy and the book is also a favourite of fashion colleges.
The artwork and film from the original book was destroyed in a fire many years ago so the task of reproducing each and every page is a big one, but we are sure it will be worth it. We are working closely with Jane to create an even better version of this classic book, with additional patterns from Jane's archive, colour photos, updated recommended yarns and a number of multi-sized patterns.
