Crochet Inspiration

Crochet Inspiration

By Sasha Kagan

published by Sixth & Spring Books
ISBN-13: 978-1-933027-12-8

This is Sasha's first book devoted to crochet, exploring 200 swatch designs of crochet stitches, enabling the reader to put together their own projects very easily.

The photographs and instructions, both in written form and in chart form, are very clear and easy to follow. Sasha also shows how to read the symbols on crochet charts at the beginning of the book.

The terminology is American but the comparative UK/AUS terms are given clearly.

The projects in the book are beautifully photographed and are a real inspiration for what can be done by using the swatches. The book really gives the building blocks to explore crochet.

Romantic Hand Knits

Romantic Hand Knits

By Annie Modesitt

published by Potter Craft
ISBN-13: 978-0-307-34696-4

A deliciously inviting book from the front cover on, this book by one of today's most popular designers has an exciting range of projects to choose from.

It is beautifully photographed and presented, with extremely clear instructions and charts, and with very helpful technique and information sections - the millinery section is fascinating.

Sizing is particularly generous, with many projects available from bust size 28 inches to 52 inches, for which the designer should be applauded.

We have many favourites in this book including

An affair to remember "An affair to remember" which is featured as the front cover design.
