Lost In Music Coverup

Welcome to Issue Three of knitonthenet

In this issue we have an exclusive interview with designer Sasha Kagan about her life and her new book 'Crochet Inspiration'. We have also included several crochet patterns suitable for the crochet beginner with both UK and US terminology on the patterns.

It has been a very busy few months here at knitonthenet, with changes to the 'mechanics' of the site being needed and the introduction of our charity knitting page and our knitting around the world map.

Also, progress is being made on our republication of 'A Stitch in Time'. It is a huge task to republish the book, as all original artwork was destroyed many years ago. However, we are getting there. In addition to the 100+ existing patterns in the book we are adding at least 15 more, which are being knitted in current yarns and will be offered in a range of sizes.

We are also extremely pleased to announce that we are sponsors of the first ever UK Stitch 'n Bitch Day on Saturday, 10th November. The event is being organised by our friends, I Knit London and welcomes Debbie Stoller to the UK.

Finally we would like to thank everyone who has helped us with the magazine - we couldn't do it without you.

We hope you enjoy Issue 3

Best wishes
the knitonthenet team
