Knot

Using 6.5mm needles cast on 6sts.
Commencing with a knit row, work in stocking stitch for 18 rows. Cast off.

Making Up

Darn in all ends. Block pieces.
With wrong sides together fold ends of bow to centre, matching corners to markers. Sew cast off and cast on edges together using a slip stitch. Join layers together along side seams again using a slip stitch. Your bow should now be double thickness. Wrap the knot tightly around the centre of the bow, concealing the centre seam. The bow should be slightly gathered in by the knot. Pin knot in place.

Thread ends of knot through slide, then sew in place. You may need to give the bow a little shape, then clip to hair.
