Drop Stitch Wrap

Materials

Colinette Point Five (100g/50m approx)
100% pure wool

3 x 100gm skeins

1 pair 15mm (US #19) needles

Wrap

Cast on 18sts using 15mm (US #19) needles.
Next row: knit.

Next row: Insert RH needle into next st. Wrap yarn 3 times round needle, draw through to make st.
Rep to end of row.
Next row: Knit through front loop of each st., dropping wrapped yarn between sts. (18sts)
Give work a little pull to stretch wrap.
Next row: Knit.
These 3 rows form pattern. Repeat until wrap measures approx 240 cm (95 inches) ending with a knit row.
Cast off.

Cut 36 strands approx 28 cm (11 inches) in length, draw a loop with each strand through one of the cast on or cast off stitches to form fringing.
