knitonthenet.com issue 2 - update #1

Saturday, 9th June, 2007

Welcome to the latest knitonthenet update. Our apologies for not updating you for a little while, but we have been very busy working on exciting new things.

We are extremely pleased to announce that knitonthenet will be re-publishing "A Stitch in Time" by Jane Waller. We are working together with Jane to create an even better version of this classic book, with additional patterns from Jane's archive, colour photos, updated recommended yarns and a number of multi-sized patterns.

The artwork and film from the original book was destroyed in a fire many years ago so the task of reproducing each and every page is a big one, but we are sure it will be worth it.

To help us gauge demand for the book we would be very grateful if you would register your interest at:
www.knitonthenet.com/stitchintime/
(This is in no way an obligation to purchase).

Go to our pattern pages for a new exclusive pattern from knitonthenet. Also, Lark Books contacted us recently about a design competition they are running. For details of how to enter go to our news page.

Thank you to everyone who talked to us and made us feel very welcome at Wonderwool Wales. We had a great day. We met so many friendly, interesting and enthusiastic people, selling fantastic products and services. Many of them will feature in the magazine in future issues but in the meantime, go to our blog for images of the day. Finally a big thank you to Lee who allowed us such great access round the show.

We will be out and about at Woolfest at the end of June so hope to see you there. Full details of Woolfest can be found on the news page.

Best wishes
The knitonthenet Team
